We’re proud to share that Seattle SHRM has been recognized with the 2024 Bronze Excel Award from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)!

This national recognition celebrates our Chapter’s outstanding achievements in operations, programming, and member engagement throughout the past year. More than just a badge of honor, the Bronze Excel Award reflects the strategic work, collaboration, and dedication of our volunteer board in advancing the HR profession right here in the Seattle community.

While change continues to shape the world of work, our board and volunteers have remained focused on delivering timely, relevant, and high-impact programs to help HR professionals grow, connect, and lead with confidence. This recognition from SHRM is a testament to those efforts—and to the collective energy of our entire chapter community.

“SHRM’s impact on the world of work is made possible by the dedication and leadership of our chapters,” said SHRM President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP. “The Excel Award is not only a celebration of the great work done by Seattle SHRM—it’s recognition of their focus, innovation, and determination to create better workplaces. Their HR leadership is truly exemplary.”

We are deeply honored to receive this award and grateful for the contributions of every board member, volunteer, speaker, and participant who helped bring our mission to life in 2024. From professional development events to community partnerships and leadership initiatives, this award belongs to all of you.

We look forward to continuing this important work in the year ahead—and building an even stronger HR community across the Puget Sound region.
